Biosketch of Prof. Ahmad Haidar:

Dr. Haidar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Department of Medicine at McGill University. He leads an engineering and a clinical team to develop dosing algorithms for insulin pens and pumps in type 1 diabetes. In his efforts to translate research findings to clinical care, Dr. Haidar has worked with Eli Lilly, BigFoot (now Abbott), AgaMatrix, Adocia, and camp Carowanis. Dr Haidar also is the program director for the professional masters in translational biomedical engineering at McGill University that trains engineers for careers in the biomedical industry.
