Biosketch of James (Jay) Brophy MD PhD:
Dr. Brophy is a tenured professor of Medicine (cardiology), Epidemiology and Biostatistics. His research interests are eclectic and include cardiovascular epidemiology, Bayesian statistics, health technology assessment and decision-making. His research has been partially supported by a Fonds de Recherche Santé Québec (FRQS) Chair in Health Technology Assessment Research and Evidence Based Medicine. According to Google scholar, Dr. Brophy has published over 400 articles with 28,000 citations and an h-index of 62.
