Rich, I watch a ton of YouTube (on the app) and subscribe to a bunch of channels (including yours). One tip that I thought you might share is how easy it is to fast forward or rewind with the app… just tap the screen on the right side of the screen to FF or tap the screen on the left side to RW. And the more times you tap, the more it jumps ahead or rewinds.

Another tip is to hold your finger on the right side of the screen to make the video play at 2X speed. Want to go back to normal speed, just lift your finger from the screen. Simple to do… I use it all the time. Thanks for your channel; you do a great job 👍👍

‘More”, nice, I didn’t know this. I knew Transcripts… Of course I knew how to find all of an authors videos, but I’m sure many people didn’t.

I have learned a great deal from your videos and I thank you for that. You glossed over the commercials on utube without any explanation. I have a premier subscription to utube and wonder why I get commercials. Is there an additional subscription I need to avoid these commercials?

Rich - One thing I would like to share is the Play speed ... use the gear icon in the video screen, then play speed, then I set most to 1.75 speed. I tend to watch all videos that are instructional or speaking at that speed.

When viewing YouTube on an iPad, you can quickly speed through parts of a video by simply long-pressing on the video part of the screen. The video will temporarily speed up to 2X. It will return to normal speed when you release your finger.

Rich, I use my ipad youtube app, I have not found a way to search with in a particular channel. For example if I want to search through all your video’s for a particular one, I have not no way to do this without all youtube videos. Let me know if there is a way?

Hello Rich, thank you for this very interesting video! One thing that bothers me on the YouTube app on my Ipad is that there is no on/off volume icone at the bottom of the screen, next to the pause and play icone, like there is on the YouTube website on my laptop. If I just want to play a video with the sound off, for example, then I have to turn the sound off from my Ipad button. As well, if I split the screen and I just want to play a video with the sound off while watching another video on which I would like the sound on, unfortunately, it's no can do! I hope you understand my somewhat confusing comment and that you can tell me if the YouTube app is missing something there... thank you! 🤩

Rich - question off topic - do you have a video that explains how to rectify compromised passwords? I have a ton, and really wonder if I just go through and delete the passwords for those sites I no longer access.

Rich another excellent video. When I use the YouTube app on my iPad and I switch to another app or close my iPad the video doesn’t stop any longer. Any ideas? Many Thanks
