I wish Victron would make such a BMS available for other third-party batteries as well and not only for Victron batteries. That would be a game changer. Maybe one day?

Very nice to have 48V 100Ah batteries too now! Very good development.

Put self heaters in them and they would be perfect.

Morning, how waterproof are they? (Thinking of my cruising yacht)

I assume that the individual cell circuit boards are for communication, voltage measurement and balancing, and not current measurement as told in the video, or is the current measurement by measuring the voltage drop over the cell busbar? Is it sn active balancing system or does is generate heat inside the battery when balancing? The batteries looks very promising when sold for the right price

what about balancing? what and how is balancing the cells? passive or activ?

Very cool. WIll there be a 330ah version? A little disappointed that these are all larger in volume, in footprint as well as heavier than their predecessors. In paricular it looks like the batteries are shorter which increases their footprint substantially.

also what happened to the new gear doing 120v both in the inverters etc and the batteries?

Is there any outcast for Sodium-ion NG batteries? Or Multiplus inverter that can handle the larger voltage range of Sodium-ion?

Can you extend the Bluetooth range so it gets beyond any metal cage (on a computer with a plug in usb Bluetooth I’d put in a usb extension cable but I’m not familiar with BMS)

When is the class approval coming ? Also, which class society ?

Hi Johannes! It would be economically viable to use in a motorhome with high energy demands instead of Smart Batteries? My motorhome is in the manufacturing phase. At first I was thinking about using two 24v 200A Smart batteries along with linx bms 500. However, these new ones have a capacity of 300A. What do you think? I live in Brasil 😊

This looks like the architecture of the 123 smart BMS

Ideal conditions for third-party batteries: if the cut-off voltage is programmable. I would also like to have an unlimited number of temperature sensors (modularly expandable). With a programmable voltage, all battery cells on the market can be used.

simple question if you can do 300ah in a 24v why can you not do a 150ah in a 48v? or even offer a 48v 300ah and yes we know weight is an issue but having a 2 man lift for 93-95kg is doable, just offer the 300ah 48v people will buy

Has anyone successfully got the 48volt feed off the new Hilux? It would seem like a great addition to charging the new 48 volt batteries for those who want to travel Australia in a Hilux
