Thank you for this! After having a playing around with it all I actually figured out that if you select the feather layer again after you've filled it and just fill it again it block fills the whole layer and saves having to duplicate a load of times!

When I increased the feather scale, it did the opposite, the outline went inwards not outwards to create that silhouette.. it didn’t work for me. What went wrong?

Procreate should add a stroke option to their layers too. It's a total hassle to keep moving my artworks to ps just for this. It is tedious in making this style in procreate.
