This scene did not disappoint. The way he looked at her. The way he said "I know". The way he smiles only for her. He seems at ease with her, relaxed. It's interesting that they don't seem to have any chemistry with their actual love interests but when they're together on screen it's 🔥

Love this! Tim's different with Lucy than he is with anyone else. He's almost always tense and "on, " but with Lucy he's relaxed and joking and even vulnerable (opening up more about his failed marriage, his time in the military, his childhood). No one else would ever get away with the pranks she plays on him and the way he smiles just for her is so sweet.
The way he said "I know" is not how you casually converse with a friend/coworker. Chenford keeps me coming back!
Individually, Nyla is my favorite character but I'm not really a fan of James. But this scene was totally worth Nyla marrying him.

There's this pause when Tim tells her she is good cop and at that exact moment Tim hesitates and the background music is very clear - we could have it all - and that's so cute. It almost felt like he wanted to say something else but he came back to the topic at hand. It was so cute and i really want them to get together now.

The best ending of an episode!! I love the moments between Tim and Lucy and this is one of my favorites. It's the dance we've all been waiting for, they're both happy, they look good, the music says it all and we have this interaction where Lucy feels how much Tim admires and supports her

One thing I love is technically in this scene, Tim is still dating Ashley and Lucy is dating Chris, but you can CLEARLY tell how much they love each other. Tim is always reassuring Lucy that she's the best he's seen, she deserves the world, and so on, and Lucy always compliments Tim and makes him smile. It's stupid how they made them date someone while they clearly have strong chemistry
