I just realised, do I even daydream? Whenever my mind wanders it's not like a dream, it's just me thinking about stuff like what i'm gonna do today, or thinking about just normal things. No vivid stuff, barely even images at all. Just, words pretty much.

I'm a advanced daydreamer but whenever I start to hyper focus or concentrate I find I can lucid hallucinate myself voluntarily,

I like this technique. I use it a lot- sometimes I use it to walk between the worlds and I can meet different realities so I can beo more aware of what opportunities I invite in to my life. I've seen the shadows of others much more clearly this way because I must wear rose tinted glasses more than I realised in the day to day. Thanks.

Wow thank you I went ahead and watch the rest of it today and yes this is exactly what I have basically been doing except I didn't have any words for it and so I started to had to get stuck so thanks for making this about it

And the why you said it was really helpful because I never really thought of actually constructing a daydreaming self but I did realize that this was an experience that I had to do internally not using my external voice

and I and I guess my imagination like you said comes up with things and I kind of have to go with that flow and there's a degree to which I can improvise what I do and it's fun to do creative things like shrink or grow or morph

do you no of any Goods places to learn about this subject

If you quote on quote catch yourself falling asleep then stop what you're doing and go take a nap because that means your body needs sleep not go do some other busy activity to fight the drowsiness just go take a nap or if it's in the evening or early morning then just go to bed and sleep a little bit meditation should be time to relax but if the person needs sleep then they should just sleep because meditation doesn't replace sleep

dude that's not a lucid daydream, you shouldn't have to meditate to do this. if you are at a stage where you can create images in your head I suggest doing it with your eyes open and doing tasks. this should help you dream anything you want instantly and vividly. try lucid daydreaming of your house and then make a fictional universe and act like you're living a book and that's what an average lucid daydreamer does. also, I'd like to ask if you know how to lucid hallucinate because I'm personally working on that it's ok if you don't I'm just asking because you may have good tips on it.

This is interesting, but as a lucid dreamer, I wouldn't call it a lucid daydream. It is indeed useful, but I believe this approach undermines lucid dreaming as a state of consciousness where you can literally experience anything, sometimes with sensations that feel more real than reality. This is quite interesting, and I would categorize it as tapping into your creative passive imagination. I will definitely use this to harness my visualization abilities. Thank you for this! Strangely, I have been pondering this subject for the past few days, thinking about how to use my imagination in a more relaxed, natural, and spontaneous fashion.

I usually daydream when I start walking around, and I get lost in my imagination, until I want to break out.

Luise: At first I tried to imagine myself walking on a road but it felt like trying to walk through a thick force so calmed my body down and then I imagined the video game character I have a massive crush on and I realized that the reason I feel like I need to comfort him and console him is actually because I associate his struggle with my own struggle of childhood Abuse. I want to tell him it’s not his fault and it’s not okay what he’s being forced to experience in the game. So I did in the daydream. And he said the same to me. And I feel a little bit better now. I recently accepted that I was physically abused growing up and I think I just realized that’s why I’ve been so depressed lately. I hadn’t really accepted that, because it was extremely suppressed. I think I am Associating Gale from Baldurs Gate 3’s struggle with Mystra with my own experiences with my abusive father, which are also linked to WHY I became a Wizard in the first place. To LET GO of that pain and past. And as far as I have come. There is still more I need to face and let go of…
Thank you. 🙏 ❤

Cool I just imagine something and add my physical senses. So if I imagine I'm jumping on a trampoline I recall the feeling of the trampoline and jumping my muscles in legs move like I'm doing it without my legs actually moving I like doing roller blading to. Feeling my movement the skates gliding on the wooden floor. I use my memories of experiences to help recall how it felt to do them. Or il eat food or drink recalling the flavor and texture. I think a person who knows basics of a skill can use to practice while resting like piano or sports to gain more experience.
