Durability either goes to Arthur only, or both. He lasted in a knife fight or fist fight (depending on which ending you choose) with TB up until his death. You may call me a glazer and you may like John more because he is the OG badass, but undeniably Arthur solos John. He’s bigger and more skilled. Moving on from strength Arthur is much more complex. On the outside he is a badass outlaw ready for anything. But a look in his journal, you notice his feelings, doubts, insecurities, and worries. John is a more simple minded being. “What you see is what you get.” Arthur wants to change but is told he can’t because of his past wrongs. Although he did change, he died thinking he was a bad man. He knew he was going to die and spent his last time helping everybody else get away from trouble and make it out alive. John believed he could change and his redemption was killing the last of the gang for his family’s lives. He thought he could redeem himself and get out of the outlaw life because of Arthur and his choices in the end. All in all Arthur was a better character and fighter overall, John’s chances against him would be slim IF they were to ever fight.
