As a fisherman, you might already be used to the ocean and the creatures residing in it but it is just so vast and large that you can never really be sure what you will see each day. Sure, most of the time it’s just you in your boat in the middle of the big blue sea, and the mundane catch, but there are instances where you catch, or see something unusual. Much of the ocean is unexplored after all, and perhaps man can never really know the entirety of it.

I was a Marine on Okinawa Japan back in 1980. I was down by the sea wall down the hill from Fatima air base. Hams 36 was my squadron. It was a Sunday, the water was clear as glass. I noticed a head coming towards me, as I sat on a boulder over the sea wall. I noticed that the eyes blinked. I ran off the rock back over the wall. Once over the wall, I stood in the outside concrete parking lot. I looked down in the water at the creature that was about to snatch me into the Pacific ocean. It was pure black. It had 4 flippers where arms and legs would be. He slowly headed under house by the sea wall built over the canal he entered. He eyes were pure black and never left me. He was the size of a small uhall truck in the water. It was a dinosaur for sure. His neck was long like a giraffe's neck. I was so thank ful that I ran back over the sea wall. The Japanese live amongst this beast. I know where he lives on Okinawa Japan. Down the hill from Fatima Marine corps air base. At the sea wall area.

Why did they not return that shark sooner instead of slowly suffocating him being out of the water so long? That was kind of cruel. He’s thrashing trying to flip into the water but had no strength.
