Barrowed my cousins EV for eight weeks, plugged into 120V plug on my apartment unit. During the week with my short commute it recovered from the weekend road trips. Bolt EV

I had a 2019 iPace, loved how it drove, was so much fun...when it worked. Tom is right, the infotainment and software were SO bad it was in the shop 45 days of my first 6 months for software issues, and the only dealership in town didn't know how to service it, nor did they seem to have any interest in doing so. On any given day you'd get in the car and cross your fingers that the infotainment would even load at all. Sometimes all the screens would black out and become unusable but the heat would blast on HIGH, and you couldn't turn it off because the screens wouldn't work. So you'd have to choose whether to drive it with the heat on high or not drive it. Service was a huge hassle. I lemon lawed it after 6 months. Will never buy another Jag.

Always look forward to this weekly! Tom, my Lightning is the same week as we talked on Twitter! If you can sneak me in to drive mine off the line too….hook a fellow New Englander up! 🤣 thanks for helping me learn about what’s in store for me as a new EV owner guys!

I’m surprised there isn’t more overlap between Tom’s audience and Bjorn’s audience 😂

I have been watching Fully Charged since 2016, when I bought an electric scooter. Electric scooters have been getting a lot better since the first one I bought in 2008.

The I.D.Buzz looks like a version of an 80's GM Astro Van.

I finally got to see an ev6 in person as well. I think because y’all keep saying it’s bigger than it looks in pictures, I was expecting it to be huge. I’d says it’s almost more like a wagon than a suv. Really good looking in person

2 months ago I changed jobs; I asked my new boss (manager) if I could charge at work? He said yes, so I charge at 1 kilowatt hour per hour at work. I work 8 to 91/2 hours a day; I can drive to work and back everyday and still make a long trip once a week.

Jordan; I thought about you charging it when you arrived at the hotel but as slow as that thing charges even right then it would have been slow. If I remember right you had a good bit of charge left so driving it in the morning to get it up to temperature was probably actually helpful to the charge. I call it a wash…charge speeds were about the same. 🤷🏻

If VW added one-pedal driving to ID.4, it would be perfect. That’s a must have for me in an EV and I don’t think I’m the only person who feels that way. Any idea if they’ll ever add it and what their aversion to having true one-pedal driving is?

There are so many people who live in houses with garages or driveways (upwards of 50% of the population) who will be delighted by being able to charge at home, and never having to visit a gas station again. And now EVs only have about 2% of the market, so there is a huge favorable market for EV adoption.

This guy taking the wife’s EV once a week to charge. Very smart that’s his alone time to himself, his zen time away from the house if they are parents if his wife sees this she will be off once a week for her half hour alone time to charge and read a book or what ever else she needs time for.

It's difficult to tell what's going on with the ID.Buzz. Other media outlets have reported that it's coming in 2023 as a 2024 model. I'd hope we don't have to wait until 2024.

What did Kyle mean when he said he preferred the seating position of the ID.4 over that of the IONIQ 5?
