I remember my mom taking me to see this in 1981, I was 15 and I wasn't really all that enthused about going to see it, as I hadn't heard about it and didn't know what it was about. But, boy after about the first 10 minutes I was hooked! It's still one of my favorites! My mom knew me pretty good. I miss her dearly.

I can see why Ford likes this more than Star wars he seems like he's actually having fun

A few years ago I was taking a train from Schenectady to the city and when we stopped in Albany, a woman who'd just boarded asked if she could take the seat next to me. I immediately noticed how incredibly striking her smile was and a moment after she sat down I told her she looked familiar and could swear I knew her from somewhere. She said, "I'm an actress, my name's Karen Allen, nice to meet you." Being the same age as the kids in The Sandlot and having grown up a big Indiana Jones fan, I surprised myself and played it pretty cool. We made some small talk about going to the city, I complimented her on her work and gave some small details about growing up with her movies, she asked me about myself, and then we both went on our laptops. I'll never forget her stunning, rare smile that very well could be the most beautiful smile I'll ever see.

This makes me love The Indiana Jones movies even more with chemistry and hilarity that comes with it.

What a fabulous, unrepeatable timeless classic.

It's really weird seeing Harrison Ford genuinely happy. But he still sounds like his body doesn't know how to laugh.

Even his outtakes are manly, attractive, and self assured.
Harrison Ford is the leading man for the ages.

I remember, already being a massive Harrison Ford fan as a kid, when my stepmom, who was a reporter, managed to get me advanced press release photos months before the film’s release. Which later I managed to get autographed. Of course it was lost over the years. Still, that first film was so iconic.

Indiana shooting the swordsman remains a classic example of timely problem solving. And Han shot first.

Spielberg has created quite a few masterpieces but for me, this movie will be his best. It has all the right ingredients for me.

To see 2 icons like Ford and Spielberg joking around is just as magic as the movie itself!

Great film. Harrison Ford has a leading man star quality that is really lacking in modern day actors

Spielberg has the perfect blend of fun, curiosity and crystal clear vision when either is required.

The best line in that bedroom scene with Marcus is when Indy says "Besides you know what a cautious guy I am" and he tosses his pistol into the suitcase.

My all-time favorite movie since I saw it on the big screen as a kid. I know every line forwards and backwards. I’ve never seen any of this. Great stuff.

Saw this in '81 when it came out. Can't believe it's been 40 years.

Finally, an explanation of why that dude is randomly laying against the wall when Indy and Marion escape the Well of the Souls.
