My father once said to me, ' never underestimate the stupidity of otherwise decent people'
Only now do I realise what he meant.

“We don’t even get to step in the road…this is what oppression looks like, ” says the young British girl holding a banner, marching down the center of the sidewalk among a few dozen of her compatriots. How ironic. To be born in one of the wealthiest countries in the world, to enjoy socialized healthcare and education, and to be free to protest publicly and say whatever one wants. That’s not oppression, that’s blind privilege fueled by naïveté, ignorance, and a misplaced longing to belong to something greater than oneself.

The “trauma expert” was absolutely gold. Completely unaware that she had used trauma to excuse one side but not the other.

The Irish bloke when challenged; ‘well, sometimes ceasefires breakdown’. I.E when someone commits a terrorist act……

I love how the “trauma” expert lady basically excuses the behavior of Hamas as due to the trauma they have suffered and then when asked if the trauma the Israelis suffered on October 7 had anything to do with their response she immediately says that suffering trauma is not an excuse for bad behavior. Doesn’t even miss a beat. 😮

With the amount of accidental humor this almost feels like a mockumentary

'We aren't allowed to protest!' She marching with a protest flag....protesting.

“We’ve lost one person”
“Two”
“We’ve lost two people”
“Three actually”
“Okay we’ve lost three people”

I swear I’ve seen this on a Monty Python bit.

I appreciate the Konstantin's reporting. He doesn't argue with those he's interviewing, instead, he just asks questions and lets them talk. It's refreshing.

Just ask the _Free Palestine_ protesters: "What percentage of Palestinians want a two-state solution?"

The scariest thing is the ignorance of these protestors

During the Palestinian protest, Konstantin Kisin showing amazing restraint and allowing these people to calmly express their views.

That lady who said “if we didn’t have a racist state in Israel, if Israel was run as a total equal democracy then all the people of that region would live under an equal rights government״ absolutely floored me. Which country in that region that isn’t Israel has anything even remotely resembling a democracy? What makes her think that if Palestinians were in control there would be anything close to a democracy? The parties in control of Gaza / West Bank have not held elections since 2006 😂

The ignorance of these so-called protesters is shocking. What a disaster.

Today I learned from that protester lady that Palestine is democratic and equal while Israel is not.
Let that sink in.

So, they want Israel to ceasefire, but they won't call for Hamas to ceasefire.

“We can’t march in the road; that’s fascism.”

I laughed out loud. That dude needs to read a history book.

The ignorance of the protesters was often astounding. “I think if Israel were a fully equal democracy where everyone could live together, it would solve the problem.” 😮

The sincerity is evident, the lack of information phenomenal, and the confusion breathtaking. Their faith in the UN is both naive and sad, for both groups.
