Is there a way to reduce the pencil thickness when annotating while presenting through keynote on iPad?

With Ipad Air M2 in Keynote. I am looking for the ability to record a presentation while using the live video feature so I can talk about what is on the screen. Maybe while presenting I can use a laser pointer or sketch something with a pencil to supplement what I am saying. This feature works fine on Mac, is it supported on iPadOS 18? If it is supported, please guide me how to do it, thanks
