Dead Pixels sounds like a good name for a band

My 2.5 year old LG CX 65” with 3100 hours already has some dead and bright pixels around the perimeter. 1 year warranty is useless.

I don't have an Oled yet, but I have seen the exact same dead pixels on a plasma screen. That's the reason I'm still sticking with led. I just can't justify spending all that money on an oled tv, that may or may not last only a couple of years.

It's no wonder companies love to push oled. Your devices become yet another subscription you'll need to "renew"

Only 3 years? Ugh, that's expensive.

I was legitimately going to buy an OLED tomorrow after work.... glad I saw this. May have to do some research on a decent LED with local dimming instead. Yikes.

LG C1 owner, noticing dead pixels on left side of screen.

I don't wanna pay that much for a OLED to get those results. I may just go with a Hisense U8G or U8H.

Terrible situation. I used an lg c6 oled for 4 years. No problems until someone finally got angry and smashed it.

What’s crazy is I have a 58”Panasonic plasma that has amazing blacks and no dead pixels and it’s a couple of decades old. No 4K it’s only 1080P. But man with an amazing picture.

I watched the 65-inch S95B at Best Buy today and it clearly outdid everything else in the store in term of vivid colors and by a long shot. Hoping to hear some resolution on this issue.

I steer clear of OLED panels, convinced that the burn-in problem persists despite manufacturers' claims of improvement. It appears they prioritize the cost savings and higher profits OLED offers, blatantly disregarding consumer experience.

my plasma has had perfect image quality for 16 years now, however 2 years ago it began developing a buzzing sound

Youtubers push OLED so hard because most of them have deals with LG and they will just get a replacement screen from the company, these screens are far from perfect.

Got a 77” C1 from Costco with a *7* Year Warranty — for *$1900* before tax. That’s what I call a secure investment…

I have an LG E7 OLED from 2018 and have no dead pixels and the TV is still working fine.

all 3 of my panels are getting dead pixels, no more oleds for me. I wonder why no one is talking about this.

WOW I just bought an OLED display wished I seen this video before I spent $999.99 on sale for this monitor. Hope it doesn't do that in 3 years if it does I will just go back to an IPS led panel. The colors are definitely much brighter an pop more on this panel but now I wonder was it really worth it for the LG 39GS95QE-B? Only time will tell if (when) I do start to get dead pixels I will update this comment the day it started to show up. Monitor bought on pending further use of this monitor!! Thank you for your video
