Good tutorial. This is the same knot I've used for years, learned from my Dad when I was a kid. It's called the "Fisherman's knot" in my part of the US.

Palomar knot is another easy to tie and useful knot to learn to connect to hooks, lures, swivels etc and can be used to tie a drop shot hook half way up your leader, I have even used it to tie wire trace then coiled the tag back up the main trace. I am loving the tutorial channel good idea to keep the tech stuff out of the fishing adventures.

Good video mate, and I love your channel :). One thing only: these two knots are actually the clinch knot and improved clinch knot, not sure if in the uk they’re known as blood knot though (which is actually another knot). Anyway, not too important….keep up the good work!
