I have watched a hundred videos trying to learn this. If I'm exaggerating, it's not by much. Yours was the only one that led to the desired outcome. Thank you sir.

I spent 3 years trying to find a video on how to tie a good tie. When I found this one it helped so much. Before I couldn't tie a tie to save my life but now people are coming to me to tie their tie. Thank you.

It's funny, I wanted to look back at this video because it helped me through my years of high school. It's great looking at the comments, I first used this video 2017-2018, I should have left a comment thanking you. If you ever read these comments. I am doing it now, as I'm a senior and the new cadets are learning, I've shown them this video because it is an amazing one. Thank you!

Every year I search the internet to relearn this skill. You have broken it down to be so simple that I may have genuinely understood and learned this skill, finally! Thank you Sir, much appreciated.

Thank you so much Captain Townley, I just graduated from new cadet training at New York Military Academy and I kept messing up my tie. I watched your video and I got it after like 20 minutes of trying to figure it out lol. Thank you

Excellent video this is how I teach my Cates to make a military single knot tie. I'm a Cadet Major at a Military Academy and I would like to add that my Cadets are required to wear a Tie Tack and a Tie Bar. Tie Bar must be completely in the middle and tie tack 1/4 down from the neck of the shirt.Taking a ruler I measure the bottom of the knot to the top of the tie Bar.And the I measure from the bottom of the tie bar to the bottom of the tie.Tie must sit half way down the belt loop.If tie does not land right in the middle of the belt loop demerits are issued.

when I was in we had to do a full Windsor and we had to dress the small end with the working end (match length the ends). Do like the video though. great demo. only way I learned to tie a tie was with my sgt major  standing behind me with his arms around me while showing me how to tie it

When I was in the Army I always used, and still use, a double Windsor knot. I think it looks more professional.
