I support this. This is their heritage. Their culture. Who they are. I love what his head stone says. Couldnt agree more. RIP Popcorn Sutton. His legacy will live on like he said.

JB showed true, raw emotions towards how he felt about Popcorn Sutton. He truly was his best friend and i like seeing how much Popcorn meant to JB and undoubtedly how Popcorn felt about JB.

6:08 that got me good. He nods his head when asked, "You alright?, buddy", but immediately shakes his head after. Almost childlike. a pure emotion.

The fact they drove a poor near crippled old man to suicide over some home made shine is beyond disgusting yet if he'd stolen that liquor in a smash and grab today he'd probably not even get charged just an all round tragic story
RIP Popcorn Sutton

These moonshiners are a part of American culture and history. These men should be protected as if they were an endangered species

Loved visiting Popcorn on my trips through Maggie Valley. When I seen his crazy signs, I knew he was doing time. Loved walking through his shack, and getting his boiled peanuts. He was a character....

I was born and raised in Tennessee and all my family before me. I’m proud to call myself a Tennessean. We love our mountains and woods. And we love moonshine. Rip popcorn.

You know what, sometimes the government just need to look the other way. It’s not hurting anyone so leave it alone. I’m gonna run some popcorn shine though my still here in the uk as a tribute. Stitch that

For folks who dont know popcorn Sutton, he is literally a legend of the moonshine business. He was beyond a legend. Never had to pay for a dinner. The local cops loved him. Sad ending. Hank Williams bought his recipe rights to The moonshine
