IMHO, Gary Moore is the greatest guitar player that ever lived and this is the greatest guitar performance ever recorded. Every note is impeccably selected whether it's a slow part or his lightening speed riffs. This is flawless! I've been a musician for 60 years and I've seen many of the greats live including Jimi Hendrix, BB Kind, Jeff Beck and many, many more and Gary was in a class by himself.

Gary Moore is a legend among musicians and is a top guitarist. Gary is up there with Gilmour in emotion and grace in his playing.

I am an American who is old enough that I saw SRV and 100's of other guitarists, but Gary Moore is my number one guitarist of all-time! I never saw him live!

Gary Moore was an absolute monster of a guitar player. Best vibrato in the business. His heavy rock playing in the 80’s was incredible. Most exciting player I ever saw.

Finally another human has done a reaction to this. This is easily in the top 3 greatest guitar performances ever. Thanks a trillion
for doing this. Words are superfluous when listening to Gary. He is just raw emotion.

Gary Moore is probably the most underrated guitarist, just because of exposure.
Very few could, or ever will, be able to transmit emotion through their guitar quite like Gary.
A true master musician
R.I.P. Gary Moore

I saw an interview with EVH around 1982 and of course they asked who his favorite guitarist was, and without a moment's hesitation he said, "Gary Moore". The interviewer was stunned.

My favourite guitarist when it comes to not just technical ability but the emotion he instills in his playing. Another recommendation which includes him singing is Still Got The Blues live In Montreux

People talk about SRV, Clapton and Hendrix, but Gary should be part of that conversation as well as Jeff Healey.

I just read Gary's biography, and his only goal in life was to be the best guitar player ever. He may very well have accomplished his mission! Very few players have the soul, passion, and technique that Gary had. A true genius!

my number 1 six-stringer. No one did it better !! While Gary did play blues in the latter part of his career he was not strictly a blues player. Gary was very proficient in fusion with Colosseum II, hard rock with Thin Lizzy and later on the blues. Unlike a lot of guitar players Gary was no one trick pony. He played each style with his customary fierceness and passion. For me no one plays like Gary. And he was criminally underrated and underappreciated.
