That looks so good!! I’ve always wanted to try soup dumpling but I am very particular about meat. I cannot stand the texture of gristle, skin, or fat. If I can’t inspect and pick off anything I don’t like then look of then I don’t want to eat it. I thought about trying to make my own but it’s a lot of work and I don’t have much time to cook. I really want to give these a try one day!

I'm wondering if I'm just not used to traditional Chinese flavors. I've loved almost every dumpling I've ever eaten, but I can not figure out how to like these. 😢 I was very excited. I have the sauces and I'm getting in a steamer tomorrow to try making them more legit. Anyone have any tips?

Update: A bamboo steamer made the world of difference! My mistake for skipping on it initially
