"There's no '100% percent vegan'. There's just Vegan." SO well said! *Clapping*

"Imagine if you could hear fish scream - the Earth would be overtaken by the sound."  Poetry, fo' real!   I'm overtaken by that imagery. It's ... deep ... what we do to fish, THE most abused beings on this planet. There ARE alternatives, as pointed out.

How incredible is it that so many of us are so off-point with our diets - fumbling in the dark and becoming extreme and disordered along the way. You guys explain so concisely and calmly hard facts - using correct terms (ie chicken ovulations) to the public. Thankyou thankyou thankyou!

I eat a low-fibre vegan diet :) I used to have terrible IBS and I did a bunch of things that helped like weight lifted (moderate daily exercise), probiotics, mediation for stress reduction, and I did the low fodmap diet for a year before settling on a lower fibre diet. It's totally manageable to do vegan if anyone watching this video is keen

Unfortunately, most of the response videos I've seen have the undertone of "you should've continued feeling sick until you found a vegan cure". I used to roll my eyes when people referred to veganism as a cult, but I'm starting to see where people are coming from as Bonny's video has really brought some toxic vegans to the surface. Some people become vegan because they are guilted into it by watching a documentary. Once you become vegan, you're welcomed with open arms & generally receive kindness from other vegans. But whenever complications come up you are limited to only finding a vegan cure, and because of this disregard any advice that even mentions consuming animal products. There seems to be this sense of hesitation when people make these "Why I'm no longer vegan" videos like they fear retaliation from the compassionate and loving vegan community. Expecting someone to continue to be in pain just for the sake of animals is quite disturbing to me. If you're hardcore and are willing to suffer for the cause then that's great for you but for some people, they just get to a point where they're willing to try almost anything to make the sickness/pain/bothersome symptoms go away. Bonny was a vegan for 5 years, she is well aware that meat was once a living animal, in fact, most everyone does, to remind her of this is pointless. All Bonny needs to feel right now is relief from pain...that's it. Expressing your disappointment, and pouring guilt on her does nothing for her, and nothing for veganism except give people yet another reason to look at the vegan community as insensitive. If she starts making "what I eat in a day" videos including fish & eggs, I'm still going to watch. I think Bonny has such a warm and friendly personality that I have no reason to stop watching her videos. All I've seen (the majority of) the online vegan community is dictate what she should've done, and say what she should do...like heaven forbid she makes her own decisions that aren't centered around animals and vegan community.

Cholesterol is not a bad thing, it's good for hormones. If you are too low on it (as I was 2 years ago in my vegan diet) it can create a mess in your system. Saying this I was vegan for 5 years and still love the diet but for same reasons as Bonny I can't do it anymore. Honestly only people that experience the same issues will understand.

There are definitely other solutions! I totally agree. I am so glad you brought up all the low-fibre plant foods!!! I said the same thing in my video (although I probably mentioned a few more junk foods haha >.<). But seriously though, if you want to eat something with 0 fibre, why not eat Just Egg replacement, instead of actual chicken periods from real, suffering chickens? Love you two and your channel! You are so sweet, and your videos so educational. You definitely helped me make the ethical connection after I first went plant-based. You deserve a million subscribers and I can't wait to see your channel get huge! :)

You two have such strong yet gentle energy. You have made some excellent points. Yes, it does seem extreme to go from a Vegan diet to incorporating animal foods. It just goes to show that it is very important to get the correct tests, SIBO, ACIDS etc., and to consult a plant based Vegan Doctor. 'Goji Man' does these tests.

I always say that if someone is “no longer” vegan, they never were! They were just eating a plant-based diet for a while, because being vegan is about the ethics!

I was worried at first that in this video you’d just be bashing Bonnie but I was pleasantly surprised to see you were very sympathetic to her situation while still giving suggestions:)

How can anyone go though life thinking eggs are not safe, healthy and nutritious? It really boggles the mind.

Don't get me wrong I absolutely understand that someone might not want to eat them for ethical reasons, but come on now, not safe? Not nutritious? Not healthy?. Wow.

Great response guys! So glad you gave options of what she could have done. I too hope this is only temporary for her and she can learn from this experience.

I am so glad you put out this video! As a child, I remember the horrendous suffering my mom lived through with misdiagnosed ulcerative colitis. She finally got to a doctor that recognized what was wrong with her, but by that time she had to have a colonoscopy (this was the early 1990s.) She's been wanting to pick up vegan habits (she went veggie with me back in the late 90s a few years after her surgery.) It's funny, 'cause she was the one who inspired me to go vegetarian (well, and 3 of The Beatles XD) since she was back in the 70s, but now I'm trying to help her since she's got so many restrictions. Listing a few things that have lower fiber is really helpful! So thank you so much for that!

Are you saying you think she'd have been fine by merely eating such things as white flour, white rice, tofu, peanut butter (blended isn't different to chunky), cooked vegetables, mushrooms and fruit juice? So basically high sugar...
