Project 2025 wants to reach into your bedroom

Among its many troubling proposals for reshaping the federal government, Project 2025 also reaches into your personal relationships, aiming to use government power to shape them. It advocates making the traditional heterosexual nuclear family the "center" of the next Republican presidency's platform. The plan includes a series of initiatives to elevate a Christian nationalist perspective of family while sidelining non-traditional families, which now represent the majority of American households. “We have very limited protections in terms of a social safety net for American families,” says Melissa Murray, professor at New York University and a leading expert in Family Law. “What Project 2025 proposes to do is to make these available only to certain kinds of families.”

Hitler wanted to increase the number of Aryan marriages and raise the birth rate.
He tried to accomplish this by:
Introducing the Law for the Encouragement of Marriage in June 1933 which gave newlyweds a loan of 1, 000 marks and allowed them to keep 250 marks for each child they had.
Giving incentives to women who had a large number of children, such as the Motherhood Cross which awarded bronze for four children, silver for six and gold for eight or more.
Making abortion illegal in 1933.
Ensuring contraception was difficult to obtain.
Taxing single men and childless families heavily.

What Project 2025 fails to address the actual definition of a biblical marriage. A biblical marriage is between one man and a many wives as he can afford.

They want to gut birthcontrol too. Women like me need birthcontrol to regulate hormones, beyond family planning. I have PMDD which means I have extreme mood swings. The birth control I’m taking helps prevent that. I actually feel normal every month where before I would legitimately be in my room just wishing I didn’t exist sobbing each month around the time of my period.
