Project 2025 Exposed: A Christofascist assault stripping LGBTQ rights

Project 2025 is The Heritage Foundation's plan to remake America, authored by many former Trump administration officials, and current Donald Trump and JD Vance allies. ProPublica reports that the organization also has video tutorials on how its allies can implement their radical agenda without accountability should Trump be elected and Project 2025 go into effect. Chase Strangio, co-director of the LGBTQ & HIV Project at the ACLU, joins Joy Reid on Project 2025's Christofascist threat to our LGBTQ citizens.

For anyone who thinks that this won’t affect them, consider that one of the next targets is likely the disabled community. Most people aren’t disabledor have disabilities, but any person can become disabled. No matter how healthy you are, what you eat, how much you sleep, how much you exercise, etc. Everything can change in a moment, and you or someone you love can suddenly become disabled and be part of the disabled community. Now, imagine on top of having your life change because of a disability, you also become a member of a targeted group.
Everyone has a responsibility to speak up and call out attacks on minority groups, because it never stops with just one group.

Hitler wanted to increase the number of Aryan marriages and raise the birth rate.
He tried to accomplish this by:
Introducing the Law for the Encouragement of Marriage in June 1933 which gave newlyweds a loan of 1, 000 marks and allowed them to keep 250 marks for each child they had.
Giving incentives to women who had a large number of children, such as the Motherhood Cross which awarded bronze for four children, silver for six and gold for eight or more.
Making abortion illegal in 1933.
Ensuring contraception was difficult to obtain.
Taxing single men and childless families heavily.

Sounds like Project 2025.

I’m glad she is comfortable enough to come out to me. That shows me I’m doing something right. She knows I will accept and love her regardless. I just want her to be herself and be happy. One community this discrimination will likely affect quickly will be those with disabilities. Even if not explicitly targeted, deregulation, funding cuts for Medicare/Social Security, elimination of Dept of Ed will all affect these individuals and their families.
All of use need to stand together because where one group is oppressed all can be oppressed.
