I was thinking the Drake passage would make the list, so dangerous!

Mount Denali is actually taller than Mount Everest if placed side by side and measured by the base. Mount Everest is higher because it sits on a plateau.

The Durian Gap is the first thing I thought of, and it didn't even make the list!

I would rather spend 24 on snake island than sentinel island. However, I am glad that the Brazilian government won't let me . Really well done ! No wonder my wife wants me to go to yellowstone

No no no, the lava lake in the DRC is silica poor, not rich. Silica rich lavas are very viscous and resists flow, while silica poor lavas are more fluid and flow with ease.

I may not know how I'm going to die but I know how I'm not going to die - climbing a mountain

My wife was from Missouri near the Mississippi river she said it's called a "body magnet"...People are dying there all the time intentionally and unintentionally...bodies poping up especially after wintertime. It is deceptivley swift with many eddies and submurged debris.

There are a lot of hot pools around Yellowstone. Some of the locals like to sneak out and go "hot potting" and use the natural hot tubs. But, they can be dangerous because there are surges of hot water that can increase the temperature in a nano-second.
Then there are the hot pools full of bacteria. One tourist and his sister were going to sneak a hotpot and he started getting burned as soon as he got in and started screaming.
His sister ran for help but, it was some distance and of course, took Rangers time to get there. By the time they did I think they found a shoe. All the rest was now hot pot stew.
They had to tell his parents that there was no body to recover.

00:33 Hold up! 🛑 That Grand Prismatic Spring is NOT just a pretty sight! Boiling water that can reach 160°F?! 🌡 Imagine getting close enough to feel the heat—one wrong step and the ground could collapse beneath you! Insane but mesmerizing. 🔥😳

4:55 that volcano doesn’t even need to be one of the most active for it to be dangerous. The location alone is enough 😂
