It's pretty sad when youtubers you watch just randomly disappear especially when you watch them on a daily basis.

If Etho ever stops uploading I will understand but I will cry so hard he's literally my hero

I've been watching Etho for almost 10 years now. He has been a huge part of my childhood and I'll never forget him. I think the best thing about Etho is the fact he hasn't hardly changed one bit. His style of making videos and uploads are just simple and is just right. He never asks for likes and/or subs either. He deserves so much more and is still my favourite YouTuber to this day

I'm a simple man.
I see Etho, I click.

Etho, the Yogscast, and Captainsparklez are the youtubers I've been consistently watching for almost a decade at this point. Amazing content and amazing people.

It feels to me like Etho's videos manage to nail both effectively targeting adults and children- kind of like the muppets.

There was this Dutch youtuber called 'skydive177' and made 'minecraft overlevingsgids' wich means minecraft survival guide. He was in the middle in a modded minecraft series and he died in it. He said he was going to save his stuff. He never uploaded ever again. That was around 6 years ago. I miss that guy...

I like that even though a couple of them are doing *relatively* worse than before, you're still pointing out that indeed, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for them.

I think you missed someone really important- GenerikB. He founded Hermitcraft and played on it for its first season. however, he got bored of it and decided to not participate in the second season. Later, when it grew more popular, he tried to return but the hermits decided they didn't want him back. he was also a member of Mindcrack

The great thing about youtubers like Etho is that they didn't care about the 'floating' subscribers, but focused just on their core base and, perhaps more importantly, just did what they liked to do.

Yogscast are still some of the only YouTubers I actively watch. I watched their stuff back in the WoW days, listened to their OG podcast around it's beginning, and still watch all their new content and podcast. They just have such a unique style of humour that you can't get anywhere else

The Yogscast is the reason I started playing Minecraft. I loved Lewis and Simon's sense of humor, and even binged the Yogpod (their podcast.) Shadow of Israphel was a little misleading for me, though. I thought the series was using a mod, and I tried SO HARD to find it.

God, I miss Jerry and Harry. I'm still good at Herobrine's Mansion, but now there's no one to play it with.

Nice video, this reminded me of some of the youtubers I used to watch. The only one I still watch regularly is Etho, who I’ve watched since 2013, and will continue to watch till he stops uploading. I loved that his style never changed and that he stayed true to himself.
