✏️ My Thoughts:
It's important for anybody who wants to get the absolute most out of credit cards to be able to make sure their setup is ready for success! I think it's really important to consistently do a self check-up to evaluate the cards I have, their earning categories, strengths & weaknesses, and take a look around at what cards I could add to my wallet in the future.

I've always loved seeing what strategies other credit card YouTubers, or just friends in general, have created. So, I figured I'd do the same and share my setup with you guys.

Whether you have cards from American Express, Chase, Capital One, Citi, or any other provider, I'd encourage you to do a similar exercise - I bet you'll find places that you can earn even more cash back or credit card rewards points. Have fun, and good luck!

That discover it is coming in clutch with Walmart right now.

a neat thing about the CSP is that at year end, they give you a 0.1% match, so your restaurant spend is effectively 3.1% (vs let's say 3% of savorone and 3% of the chase freedom flex during non category quarters)

Once you complete the process for alliance airlines booking (your case domestic travel) it becomes easy. Like you, I was very apprehensive and unsure to do all the leg work for the airline alliance process, but it’s worth it and straight forward. Good luck.

Just redeem your Capital One miles for travel at 1 cpp. I rather have $ in the bank than hoarding virtual miles.

Why don't you get the WOH card especially with the current SUB?

Why not get the BILT Mastercard for your rent? It also has Hyatt as a transfer partner. $0 annual fee. Could go from 0x points to 1x points.

This is a strange set up, missing so much opportunity for Venture X without The Savor One.

United Explorer Card is the airline card I'm looking at. Only because United has a hub at my local airport. Free checked bags (one for you and one for companion), $0 AF first year, only $95 year after. One trip, the AF is wiped out by the free checked bags let alone diving into the other perks.

I have an interesting setup as well with my venture x and Wyndham earners business credit card. I use my vx points for my hotel redemption since they are partners with Wyndham and they offer 8x on gas with Wyndham card and 5x on utilities(cel phone, internet, electric) and vx will be my catch all for 2x. I also have the CSP and planning on getting a freedom flex for groceries and dining purchases. That will be for my flights redemption. I do have United explorers card and AA red aviator card however I’m planning to downgrade my United to a gateway card for no annual fee and just keep my aviator card since I mostly fly on AA and can use the free luggage and priority boarding.
