Had a friend who used this, got the opportunity to borrow it for a few minutes since he offered, so I did. Its not bad, the various pieces make it a good fidget as well as being a trustworthy mechanical pencil.

Anyone wondering, I own 6 of these pencils in different mm sizes, they are NOT dangerous at all, they just give you a heart attack when you drop them cuz you will fear you may have broken it !

This is a great for the desk. I’ve used 2 of these as a woodworker, I loved both of them up until they both snapped in half right in the middle where the plastic part meets the 2 aluminum tubes. If they made that part that holds to pencil together stronger, this would be the best mechanical pencil ever.

A little info (From someone who has two) on this "Dangerous" mechanical pencil. The coloured rubber represent different led thicknesses e.g. the brown one is 0.3mm and the grey is 0.5mm. It has a very low centre of gravity which makes it feel very stable and surprisingly pleasant to spin in your hand if you are like me and like to fidget. The best way to use it is with a relaxed grip and a somewhat loose wrist I found the momentum does most of the work you just have to change it's direction. Someone like me who has problems with my hand I find being able to rely more on the pencil to do the downward work a real bonus. You can't change the led by turning the grip it's just there so when you change the led from say HB to 2B etc. You can turn the grip to the 2B sign so you know when you pick it up that it has 2B led in it. As for it breaking I can't say much as mine have been pretty good but like anything now days if you treat it rough don't expect it to last. Oh and yes it still has that rubber that will only last for about three letters before needing replaced.

Hello! I am Japanese!
In Japan, a wooden-shaft mechanical pencil called S20 made by a company called pilot is extremely popular! It sells for 2000 yen in Japanese yen!

Had this pencil, one of my favorites. I loved the weight of it. Even when it broke, i was determined to still use it.

Yeah, it’s dangerous because when your wife or girlfriend finds out how much money you spent on it, you’re gonna have to sleep outside

I once witnessed a guy rob a liquor store with a Graphgear 1000. It was terrifying...

As someone who has used the 0.3mm variant of this pencil for a bit over a year, i can say it is perfectly safe and is actually pretty nice to use. The graphgear 500 is more comfortable if the balance of the pencil or how heavy it is happens to be your concern though.

It may look nice because of its metal outside, but after a few weeks with it, the glue under the metal joining the plastic together let go and the entire thing fell apart, if you sum up the price of a few pencils broken, you should be able to get a full metal one.

I love these pencils, the problem is the plastic part holding the tip and grip together. It breaks very often.
