Do THIS! Don't Manually Transfer Your Save between Steam Deck & PC | Cloud Save for Non-Steam Games

To enable Syncthing GTK in Game Mode, you will need to create a new text file located at /home/deck/.config/systemd/user/

[Unit]
Description=Syncthing
[Service]
Type=simple
Restart=on-failure
RestartSec=1
SuccessExitStatus=3 4
[Install]

Then open Konsole and run the commands:
systemctl --user enable syncthing
systemctl --user start syncthing

If you wish to disable Syncthing starting on launch you can run the following commands:
systemctl --user stop syncthing
systemctl --user disable syncthing

My SD started acting up and had to do a clean OS install, thought I've lost hours upon hours of progress on Epic games, but with this I was able to sync the files from my PC back to the Deck, you a life saver dude, got a sub for life! 😅

I love it, works better than the decky plugin I installed which seems to only push to drive (not pull from drive), with this I can play stoneshard on pc and then go outside and play on deck...smoothly, thanks good lord

One question: do I have to run that Konsole command every time I share a new save game folder between devices?

I tried to transfer save files for Stray, followed the same steps up to the text file creation and for some reason it's not having the same results

Is there a way to sync only specific files in a folder? i.e. for FFVII Remake, the game save and game settings are in the same folder so when you sync from PC to Deck and vice versa, the graphics settings including resolution also sync which I would like to avoid otherwise I have to manually change the settings on each device when starting the game.
