As a firefighter. I'll stick to AGM. Lithium fires are the worst to deal with. I will never drive an EV for the same reasons. Just because some of you run them with no issues or how good you think your build or equipment is. They can burn your car down even when you're not using them and even in your driveway when you're asleep. We firefighters also beg you people running lithium to please not park your car in a garage or near your houses.

I just swapped to lifpo4. Got 2 110ah batteries. World of difference. Voltage at rest after a week is still 13.3. Stays at 13.8/9 even at full tilt at idle for about 3.5 minutes. 1taramps hd3k. 1 taramps bigboss 5k. 2 skar rp75.4. 1 325a singer alt. Building an external alternator adjustable controller myself. 08 toyota yaris. 2 dclvl315d4 with upgraded coils. 4 skarzvx8d2.

I upgraded to lithium because it’s faster recharge rate. I have two jp40’s running 12k watts on full tilt at idle getting down to 12 volts and within a 2 minutes it’s back to 14.6

Im actually super excited about the lithium boom. Ive been running some sort of lithium in my rig since 2012. Right now im running those new 6ah scib lto cells in a 5s configuration for stock alt. Been working fantastic for my setup.

I’ve been running 40 ah of ying long lto for 3 yrs now I love it. Plenty of juice to run my bc6k. It rests around 14.5 and I charge around 15.4 and I drop to 14.1 full tilt at half ohm

I have agm right now and it works kinda good. But i am going to lto cells as well. I see so many people with great results.... it is just a logical step forwards!

I have 1000ah of lipo4 headway all used cells. I have no ballancer. I have no fuses and park my truck in the sun everyday. It's been in my truck for 4 years and I never have a problem. I run 3 jp 8300 @.5 on 6 zv6 15s

I bought a lithium battery for my motorcycle to replace a tired AGM battery yesterday. The new battery is a NOCO brand and it weighs around a pound or less. It's so light and it has twice the cranking amps. Crazy I bought a Battery Tender for lithium batterys so ill be set for storage.

Lto can be charged in freezing temperatures, other lithium can be ruined by charging when frozen

Tradeoffs to both imo. Agms take alot less maintenance sortive speak, but aren't nearly as powerful as lithium. Lithium on the other hand charges way faster and will give you alot more pwr. I did a battery delete and only run 1 lithium battery (spim08) to run my entire vehicle and 5k system with nothing else on stock alternator. Lithium banks are big powerhouse, but if neglected i can see how a potential fire can happen sortive speak. been running lithium for close to three months and it's hard to go back to agm.
