Hee Haw was all about music AND comedy. I'm a Rocker thru and thru, but I was raised up watching this show. Roy Clark was a master musician, so it's no surprise that he kept up with Buck Trent. Hee Hee haw haw haw! Lol

Roy Clark did not get the recognition he so deserved, I don’t think there was a stringed instrument he couldn’t own. See his performance on the Odd Couple with the guitar

Yah, I recommend a deep dive into Roy Clark. He can do as well on virtually any stringed instrument, banjo, fiddle, acoustic or electric guitar, he's one of the best ever at each one. If you asked me I'd tell you that your next Roy Clark video should be Malaguena, in which he plays a Spanish acoustic guitar. There are several versions of it floating around YouTube, and they're all good. Then, I'd go for another piece that lets him show off his electric guitar skills and his sense of humor, with The Twelfth Street Rag.

This was a comedy show called Hee Haw that was on for nearly 25 years from the 60s until the 90s. It was skits, musical guests, and stuff like this. You can probably find old Hee Haw shows streaming somewhere and clips here on YouTube

Roy Clark was one of the greats... if it had strings, he could play it, and quite expertly too.

While no one can touch Roy's immense talent, Buck Trent came damn close.

Roy Clark is the greatest guitar, banjo, mandolin player to ever grace this earth.

If you've never seen the movie Deliverance, you can't truly enjoy the wholistic pleasure of this.

Guy Clark earned the title “guitar hero” years ago. If it has strings he plays it expertly.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Roy Clark about 40 years ago, friendly, gracious, humble, I literally don't have the vocabulary to explain what an amazing man/person/human he was. If you want to see more of his "amazingness" watch his playing of the classical piece Malaguena on the Odd Couple. If want so more of amazing bluegrass watch Earl Scruggs and friends on David Letterman, it is jaw dropping

Sadly, Roy Clarke isn't as well known as he should be. He was, is and will always be The Grand Master Of Strings.
