Ahh, some good arcade gaming on an XT class computer, along with functional monochrome VGA graphics. Works great!

Cool 8086 setup man, It's amazing to see such an old computer running vga games, I'm sure that Body Blows was announced as a 386 game back then.

Even in MCGA it can do 60Hz when in 640x480, but remember, 320x200 is 70Hz.

This one should have sound. I found that it was YouTubes fault, some how the encoding just didn't encode with the AAC audio codec. It instead had no flag set so no audio was encoded.

@xxjr963xx Yes, but then that would make the built in screen, just giant wasted space.

Now they did make color Model 25's, I used to have one, but it died shortly after owning it. This model 25 however, has been in the family since it was new. We are still the original owner, so I'm not going to ruin it's appeal.

Thank you!!!! One tip, though. It won't open if the hard drive is in the locked position.

And this monitor is running at a flat 60hz while handling the VGA signal? Neat...

Do you still have this machine? Also, don't forget that the 8086 has a 16 bit data bus. The data bus can in athe perfect scenario, transfer code and data at 2 bytes per cycle. The theoretical maximum is 16 Megabytes per second with a 8 MHz 8086. A 4.77 MHz 8088 with its 8 bit data bus can only transfer 4.77 Megabytes per Second in the ideal situation to/from CPU and memory
