This video just made me and my husband's night. All the words you used like "go for a swim" and "alchemy", etc. It was AWESOME. We love you so much! We had fun watching this and you made us laugh SO much with the bloopers! He also used to work at olive garden and is SO PUMPED about the carbonara. He said, "Yes please, please! about that one and the gnocchi one!" Thank you for your videos!! I tell people about you all the time. Today I told someone at the market and last week a coworker. :)

Never thought about the cornstarch in cold liquid, but ever since childhood every my mum or dad had to thicken a sauce and they used cornstarch, they would always first dissolve it in cold water and then pour it in the hot sauce! Makes sense :)

With cornstarch you can always add it to cold water and make slurry and THEN add it to hot food to thicken

That gnocchi recipe is so simple! I love pesto. But never thought of increasing the nutritional value by just adding it as flavor into canned tomatoes. That’s genius. Very much student meal friendly :)
