I have a character who loves making jewelry for him, his friends, family, husband, and his daughter. But he stops doing it for a while as he becomes severely depressed and barely even leaves the house (this was after moving across the world. The change shook his world so much that he constantly wished to go home but refused to tell his husband because of two things. One being he didn’t want to throw those eight years away, and two he didn’t want to suddenly change his daughter’s world either. Eventually they do end up going back after his husband basically said “We’re going back to **insert country** because this didn’t work, and that’s okay” and their daughter is honestly just happy to meet OC’s insane friend he always yaps about lol)
