Diamond makes taste of the wild. I would consider it mid level kibble. It's better than most options out in the market. If you can't afford origen or arcana, this is ok if you need to feed kibble. I would recommend adding whole fresh food to your kibble to increase the nutritional value.

My last dog who lived to be 14 yrs old was fed kirkland his entire life . My dog now who is a 6yr old lab has been fed kirkland from the time he was weened the biscuits that he's fed is kirkland and he almost refuses to eat any other brand .. the only change in his diet is the very expensive organic dog food I've change to that is made from bison .. but of course he's also spoiled beyond belief so he gets steaks and chicken and hamburger and rice .

For people who are interested, FDA recently came out and said grain free kibble does not cause DCM. It's genetics. On the other hand, vets and pet parents claim when they stop feeding their dog grain free, the symptoms went away. My guess is some dogs have a predisposition. If you're worried about it I would look into homemade cooked or raw. Just make sure it's balanced.

I can't lie I have a malinois and a siberian husky. I feed them what you would consider High grade Dog kibbel, and they both look great, no itching, no licking, never had a problem. I personally believe people just simply over feed the dog. If fed just the right amount, they stay lean and healthy

Ive had nothing but problems from day one feeding my Rottweiler stomach upset vomiting, itching ect. Crazy vet bills trying to find out what caused this.vet said to change his food tryed that many times nothing seemed right. I was at a local feed store and I was talking to a customer who said she was having the same issue with her dog until she changed to salmon base food said her dog couldn’t break down poultry chicken Turkey ingredients and tryed salmon and the problem went away so I gave it a try and my rotty hasn’t gotten sick in months thank god for wild and free salmon and pea give it a shot.

schell and kampeter inc which is Diamond. All made in the USA with a few things from europe. Diamond Naturals, Nutra-Gold, kirkland and Taste of the Wild. It’s not white label but Co-pack. Which means its sent to other companies to be labeled, marketed etc. when a recall happens this affects many companies, but it’s actually the product itself up in the food chain of selling. 6 big companies own all the dog foods most people buy. A few hundred smaller ones sell at higher price points and hard to find, doesn’t mean they are better either … too many factors.

It's some of the highest quality dog food you can get for under $5 a lbs. Possibly the best. Don't take my word for it, contact a veterinarian ffs

Kirkland brand food is better than pedigree. If you're on a budget this is a great choice.

At the end of the day most people are too lazy to give there dog there daily exercise people blame the food yet are not doing there part to help the dog break it down

I've had a good experience with the grain-free Costco brand. My German Shepherd had the beef & sweet potato formula his entire life. My vet did a blood test on him when he was 13 years old and he said the results were so good, it was as if he were still a puppy.. The breeder of my Labrador feeds her puppies the grain-free puppy formula with great results and recommends it highly. The food is made by Diamond pet food company and is of excellent quality, I believe there is nothing close to it at the price.

It all has to do with your dogs genetics. The food just triggers the allergies it doesn't cause them. So i personal wouldnt say a food is bad or dangerous for them.
