The problem with the Game of Thrones example is that there's still 5 other streaming services you're missing out on (never mind region blocked content). Steam works because you really don't need another game launcher to buy 99% of the available games. It's about convenience, not just features.

if i could buy one subscription and get game of thrones and all of the other TV shows i watch, then i would probably buy the subscription, but im not paying $10/month for just one show.
i never pirate games on steam! everything that i want to play is a reasonable price, and if it's not then I don't buy it.
i pirate basically any nintendo/microsoft/sony game that i can because i just don't like giving them money.
i like the way that steam doesn't treat me like cattle to shepherd, they'll let me install their OS on anything and play all their games on any device, multiple different devices, whatever.
whereas nintendo, sony, microsoft, they all have these weirdly authoritarian closed ecosystems, i think it's ethical to break out of that ecosystem, and once you've broken out, piracy is the most convenient option

Lower the prices of all those subscriptions, and compensate the revenue by ads. I won't mind watching like Netflix free, but with ads like on YouTube

The most anti-piracy thing is a wealth. When I been poor I always pirate my software, games, films, etc. Legal copies is just a very, very expensive for me. Nowadays, I can buy a new game, subscription, every month and I am still a lower class. It just safer than pirate a game from torrent sites, and I lastly a very pedantic about computer safety, after a year of use the laptop I haven't any virus, earlier it's normal to have a small virus on your disc.

lack of innovation of tv and streaming services seems to be what has caused piracy to be so rampant.
apps and services haven’t evolved beyond what piracy can do.
if you just want to stream football, why should you pay for it???
what if there was a much better software for nfl that let you view stats and all these other things straight from your tv??? then i might want to pay for the nfl, but right now???? HELL NAWWWW

I don't like paying for different platforms to watch movies and for the games, I don't have a high end laptop so I need to play old games and they are expensive af so I don't mind playing them for free

This is true, the main reason I started pirating TV and Movies was because they were overall more convenient then streaming services like Hulu, thats not even considering the lack of ads

Best piracy prevention method make all ott apps free with ads placed on it so that everyone have access to all the movies and if don't want ads then pay for a premium this should help prevent people from pirating

Yes but for most stresming services its too damn expensive ( i dont pirate shows) so them pirating some good shows is better than for example netflix. They have some golden shows but the rest is mediocre. So i understand pirates.

Piracy : grab some copy of that particular game from unlimited copy of that particular games that floating in the internet while the publisher itself didn't lose any single of copy of that particular game since it is in fact unlimited.

I mean, publisher didn't lose any copy of that game since it is just an unlimited copy of that games that publisher shares on the internet as digital content/media...

So if they really want you not to grab some of their hard work, well then the best way to protect from people grabbing those digital copy of that particular game is, is too think, find the way out, how to...
Since in fact that it is almost impossible to avoiding this kind of thing if its in form of digital things and has already spreading to the network/internet that basically available for public for the rest of the world...

Use your best technique, use DRM, use any kind of thing you can think to avoid this kind of thing...
