Can confirm, this exploit still works on PC at least. I got it to work the first try. I do not think you can take the 'buff' with you as you have to fall off and die to progress.

wait a half second after last hit, just long enough to hear your dude scream and quit, if you get forced into the cutscene you quit to late, you don't want the screen to fade before, also on ps5 i used the regular quit in menu not from the console menu

Looks like they patched it. You spawn in game now with 0 hp, but you’re instantly teleported into the cave and the cut scene starts

Was able to replicate but how do you even leave the area? The bonfire isn't there. Only way is to die down the cliff and be ported to the starting area but this resets the glitch.

How am I supposed to get a "0 death playthrough" if god mode is cancelled as soon as I fall off the cliff?

Unfortunately it didn't work for me. I tried it 3 times. I really ended up outside, but the screen immediately goes dark again and the cutscene comes on.

How do you get out of the area after you defeat the boss

Hi! I did try it on pc but it does not work for I died about 32 to skip by alt+f4=nothing....tried to skip by normal to let the boss hit me and then try to skip alt+f4=nothing ...then same thing but skip the normal way ....nothing so far...
PS: OK so I managed to make it work ...for some reason does not work on astrologer made vagabond and worked just fine. Then indeed after defeating the boss, you have to fall from the cliff dus....becoming again normal.

its ironic that the black flame attacks from the godskin enemies can still kill you since the damage is based on health % and not the actual value

Except you then LOSE the glitch as soon as you have to jump off the edge to get to Limgrave.

People use this to invade and it’s so annoying. I hope from software fixes this. I wouldn’t care if people used it in pve. But if you invade with it then you ruined it.

Just did it with the samurai and it worked first try after 1.03 patch but yes it does reset after you die from falling down the cliff

Must be patched. When I continue, there is a split sec at the boss door then taken to the cave of Knowledge.

I accidentally found this cause I wanted to try and actually beat the boss legitely. That 2nd part immediately flew out the window when I didn't die and needed proof
