There is a similar exploit using the mage enemies at schoolhouse classroom. It uses crimsomwhorl bubble tear and law of regression. Be attacked by the mage in the white rob, after that use the physick and head further up to the two mages, when the mages fire at you use law of regression at the exact moment that you get hit by the spell, and then your HP just infinitely starts to regenerate. Haven’t tested it since last patch so I’m not sure if it still works or not. As long as you don’t teleport anywhere or rest at a grace it will stay active.

Off-hand swaps is something FromSoft has addressed in the past but never truly fixed completely. I wonder if it’s so boiled into the game’s code that it’ll simply take too long to fix, but who knows.

I’ve read patch notes all the way back in DS3 where they addressed “fixed a bug where the player has ‘X’ in their off-hand and do other steps, ” but never truly patched it until it was no longer a problem.

That explains so much. I got killed in impossible ways like a ranged bloody slash from a mile away, and I encountered some people with infinite HP.

been enjoying the offhand stance swap + marika's hammer/hand of malenia to grief afk griefers/farmers since like forever
kinda hope they dont patch the glitch as a whole but this def needs to be addressed

There is also a glitch that allows your physic to never run out. Dunno exactly how to do it though. I find it mainly happens when using madness procs

So many of the glitches in these From games have a shared cause, and it is poor handling of the input queue and the way inputs get buffered. There are still quite a few that do not (FAP, estus cancel), but many that do (unscaled, bow glitch, moveset swap, and a bunch I'm sure I'm forgetting at the moment)

I had this happen to me in pvp yday where a host of an invasion did like 2200 health from one RoB swing, this explains it

There is also a bow glitch that lets you easily shoot great arrows with a light bow, through a button combination much easier to pull off consistently than weapon swapping

Yup this should be fixed ASAP this break the game in every possible way.

There's also the interaction with Holy Ground and the Crimsonwhorl bubbletear physick making it a permanent buff. Allowing you to heal from ANY elemental damage, which is also pretty broken.

Unfortunately the only way us pleb console players can deal with afk farmers in lets say lenne’s rise is by using that WA swap to use marikas hammer and malenias WA to travel to impossible to reach locations for invaders.
