Lost a lot of weight through not drinking.. barely changed my diet either. Felt and looked the best I ever have, and after a recent hangover, I'm out off drinking more than one or two for good!

Keep going. You should start buulding an ecosystem outside of YT. I dont wear foil hats but you have good info, and it could be 'suppressed' for reasons. Either way, ill keep listening. If you have a book, lemme know. Im collecting.

I barely drink. One drink a week is a lot for me. How do I lower cortisol in my system? I have pstd and I'm gaining a lot of weight recently.

I struggle with this my self. People are so direct and one dimensional these days, its either "drink your ass off" or "alcohol is bad, if you consume any, you're doing terrible and need to fix your life" mentality.
People don't want to go the extra mile of finding common ground and understanding for each other. They pick a narrative and run with it like fanatics.
I like to casually drink to loosen up, socialize or have fun with family on dinners and gatherings. Maybe twice a month. While alcohol as a chemical is basically poison to your body, the psychological aspect of being apart of a social cycle, talk, laugh, enjoy conversation can be vital for health.
Just look at centurions in places like Ikaria, or Japan. I can almost guarantee you they drink socially. You get in a table with people you trust, go on a night out with friends, create conversation, create memories and feelings, like the human you're meant to be.

Alcohol suppressed my apetite...I'm trying to stop drinking each evening and I just keep eating...The 600 calories in a bottle of wine is one slice of good cake or half a pizza...but a bottle of wine lasts 3-4 hours..and 600 calories of food lasts 2-3 minutes...then I want more.I feel like shit don't get me wrong...But I want to stay slim...and alcohol seems to help that.
