So Vander blamed Silco for Felicia’s death. He tried killing him not in trying to stop a war from happening but out of personal vendetta.

So warwick is the hostile side of vander that already existed.

If you watch this videos at 0.25 speed, there's more time for you to see the parallels being drawn between the firebomb Silco throws and Powder's monkey bomb. Keep in mind that all this is played from Vander's perspective. It's my interpretation but I think Silco's fire bomb killed Felicia and Connol unintentionally in the same way Powder's monkey bomb killed Mylo and Claggor. This was never explicitly mentioned, like many things in the show, but it would explain why Vander tried to drown Silco, like how Vi punched Powder after her bomb went off. I won't be surprised if this is true because the show has drawn many parallels between the relationship of Vander and Silco with the one of Vi and Powder.

Warwick/Vander screaming and crying at the end because of Silco's injury 🥲🥲🥲

Love this scene but it makes me wonder why Vi and Powder are at the bridge at all. If Silco, Vander, etc were taking a stand vs enforcers, why bring two young girls to the battle?

This guy lost his eye
almost died
Lost everything he loved.
Almost died to his brother who, in his anger, blamed him for everything,
And he still returned to that bar and shared a drink with his brother in defeat.
"Blisters and Bedrock."

i wonder if the deaths of vi and jinxes parents were some caused directly by some mistake by silco during the uprising maybe it started differently and he made it escalate as part of some plan only to kill his friends and causing vander to fly into a rage and try to drown him, then he comes back and for the good of the city not only ha has to kill vander but he has to make it look like he fled or died without his intervention to take power and so vander kids sadly have to go as well

One of the most haunting scenes in season 2
Poor Vander

having silco be at the bridge feels like a retcon. if he was with vander, who knew vi and powder, then how come vi and powder didn't recognize him in act 1? i was under the impression that silco was someone that none of the kids knew about, only benzo and vander.

So that’s what happened to Silco’s eye, this entire time I thought it was just the result of Tobacco Addiction

Does it sound in the end like vander or warwick were crying while they saw the disfigured silco?

The only way I can make it make sense is that Vander expected a pacifist protest at the bridge but Silco "betrayed" the cause by inciting violence. That's when the enflrcers kick in and the deaths start. Vander, enraged, drowns Silco and leaves him fir dead. That stsrts his mindless hatred towards Vander and by proxy, Vi and Powder after he adopts rhem (even though Silco was friends with Felicia - but in the Warowck flashback we can already see his apathic tendencies; he probably did not care for her beacuse her and Vander represented the weak way to deal with the Topsiders).

Vander returns to the bridge to save people still fighting with the enforcers. Only a bit before, Vi and Poweder who mighr have been waiting at their house, decide to go to the bridge. That leads into the very first scene of Arcane S1E1 and would exain why Vander did not know the kids were at the bridge

why are people taking thie memory literally this is a torn memory of Warwick bro none of this could've happened, or all of it could've happened out of sequence

Does anyone know why Vander hurt Silco? Like it said when Powder’s and Vi’s mum died Vander got angry, yet when the mum dies on the bridge Vander is older than when he hurt Silco (as Vander has a beard on the bridge, yet no beard when hurting Silco) so can anyone explain what really happened??

I think the other comments are close but not quite there. The enforcers kills vi and powders parents in a fight. Silco and Vander were enraged enough to build a bomb that would wipe out piltover. Notice when silco says “blisters and bedrock” he is already injured from the bridge scene and he is toasting Vander. They are sitting in front of a bomb. It’s here that Vander decides to betray Silco because he doesn’t want to kill thousands of innocent civilians. I can’t think how exactly they end up fighting in the river but i think that’s the cause of it

0:07 I hate my theory but... That face from Silco after he saw the mother, dead on the ground... It's like he is confused and angry TOWARDS Vander. I strongly believe that Vander killed Vi and Jinx's parents during his rampage on the bridge. Blinded by blood.

"I knew you still had it in you" when Vander is about to kill his brother with his bare hands. I don't know, nothing is sure, but the more I think about it, the more I consider it to be true.

i think its pretty dumb that just because silco was standing next to a dead felica that vander would go beserk and try to kill him. stupid reasoning.

Am I crazy or is there someone whispering "Drown him"?

Those yells at the end sound... bad, painful, and I think it might be vander during some stage of his tranformation process into the beast since the voice is disfigured and muffled.

So I’m confused. Vander attacks Silco before he has a beard like in the bridge Riots. Why was Silco at the riot and without a damaged eye then?
