The parallels on how Caitlyn had a full blown fancy memorial up in piltover while Jinx had to bury Silco on her own in the polluted rivers of Zaun.

I almost cried when I saw this. You can see the guilt on poor Jinx's face. She loved Silco and misses him, even when she acknowledges how much he bossed her around. It's a very beautiful and dark scene, mirroring the scene from S1E3, even using Silco's "Have you had enough?" from his monologue.

I wonder if Jinx was thinking of drowning herself here due to her guilt. The way she's submerged with Silco's body, wrapped around him, not worrying about air. And when she screams, she takes on a lot of water. Silco's "Have you had enough?" seems to reference that, asking Jinx if she's had enough and is willing to die. It's so sad and I feel awful for her in that moment.

This season will take no survivors. I can feel it.

I miss Silco so much...this moment where Jinx struggles to let go of his hand is heartbreaking.

Edit : after watching this scene several times, I am still unable to watch it whitout feeling my heart ache and tears weiling up in my eyes....

I can't remember a time when Jinx had an internal monologue before.
It's sad that this trauma has seemed to clear her mind - there are no more voices in her head. She's truly alone.

I love how they re-used Silco's line from his monologue in the first season. There he was talking about actually drowning when he got betrayed by Vander. But here, Jinx is the one who is drowning, not physically, but emotionally. Her adopted father is dead, the second father killed by her hands in her eyes. She has lost everything and is drowning, then she hears "Have you had enough?" And just as Silco said in his monologue, Jinx had to figure out if she was just going to let the "water" take her, or if she was going to fight.

Comparing Jinx mourning Silco and Cait mourning Cassandra is so interesting. I feel bad for Jinx, really bad, and I feel sad with her. It's so clear how much she mourns him, how much she misses him. The fact that she has such a hard time letting go of him in this scene is so heartbreaking.

But when it cuts to Cait and her mother- in best case scenario I just feel like "aw, I'm sorry for your loss" and in worse case scenario(Which is becoming more and more common of a reaction as the season goes on) I just feel like "Womp Womp"

People say it's Jinx's face that gets them but seeing the flashbacks with Silco and the tender glow in his eye, the way he looks at her like a doting father, going from him holding her hand to her letting go, that crushed me so hard. As someone without a doting father I bawled my eyes out, I miss Silco so much

was silco father of the year? no. not by a long shot. but you can’t deny that he didn’t love jinx as his own. he had EVERY oppurtunity to get rid of her, and yet never did. especially the bridge scene, seeing her nearly dead hurt him. he had all those body guards yet ran himself, with her in his arms to singed. and you can tell jinx regrets killing him.

I think she was going to drown herself with him. Then she heard in her head him saying “have you had enough?” Like have you had enough of blaming yourself or of never forgiving yourself or something. So she came back up. This scene brings me to tears. And the fact that it was in the water where they both became the current versions of who they were. This scene is perfection 😭
