There is too much of this crap on the market. They are not precise and too many are downright inaccurate. You cannot calibrate any of them. What you buy is what you get. Not being able to calibrate is a real turnoff. If the accuracy changes, there is nothing you can do about it except junk it and buy another one and hope it is better than the last one. You can get consistent and better readings with a separate cuff, gauge, and stethoscope. I finally took the plunge and bought an OMRON. It lasted a week before it began reading systolic more than ten points low and I can't fix it.
