You are wrong in saying that goverment is prioritizing corporate houses over common man. The government is prioritizing ITSELF over the common man. Around 65% of petrol price at the pump is just tax, minimum 40% of a car price is just tax. Despite continuous inflation, the government has only increased taxation, direct or indirect. And they are setting even higher targets for tax collection every year, basically just hell bent to find more ways to tax the working class people.
