I would 100% listen to a “Hot Take with Jordan Drake” Podcast.

Have been using an S1 for a year now, its still an absolute beast. Being able to record 5.9K internal with full VLOG and no AA filter makes for an amazing result

The one big issue I have with your list is that only one of these cameras is under $2, 000.00. Now, I guess that's fine for pros and/or YouTubers who can afford them, but for the average amateur or enthusiast it's a big problem. Here's a video I'd love to see. The top 10 cameras that will still be great on the used market 2 to 5 years after new. Amateurs and enthusiasts don't need to be bleeding edge. They need something that will satisfy their love of photography and videography at an affordable price and that will last them a while. I answered this question for myself in 2021 with a barely used Fuji XT-3 because I'm mostly into photography. And, I got a lens, non-battery grip and several extra batteries with everything still in the original packaging looking brand new. Thanks for a look at these cameras in this context. Have a great weekend!

Fuji X-T4 Boys, best value for money option & feature set, great lens lineup ( and getting better all the time ) great build quality & regular feature / firmware updates. Plus Fujifilm handling & colors are beautiful. Then there's the X-H2S for those who want the modern DSLR feel. The X-H2 is the beast I'll be waiting to get my hands on though.

Great to see the OM1 in your list, it’s an amazing camera

GH6 photo mode is under rated. I am getting fantastic pics from the 14bit raw, all the way up to 100mp. Also has 75fps which is amazingly good! Very happy with the results of the pics, and the video is simply stunning.

My pick is Lumix S5, it is underrated, over delivered camera. its 20-60m kit lens is awesome.

Fully agree with this list here, I've had a chance to use all of these except for the om-1 and the R7, and I fully agree with the Nikon being on top. All these cameras are amazing and all very exciting

One thing I wish you guys had mentioned is the dials/physical interface and how that affects shooting. I love the Sony ergonomics (I know it's divisive), and the dedicated stills/movie/S&Q selector on the a7iv is SUPER helpful. My go-to stills camera is the Sony A7riii, and I just got the a7iv specifically because I am shooting an independent movie, but wanted a camera that could still be a functional stills camera once that project was done. It's amazing. I sometimes stop and in awe of what these cameras can do. I spent a lot of summers in a darkroom as a teenager, and never would have dreamed that affordable cameras would be able to offer film quality movie and stills. There's now good, capable hybrid cameras in all the systems, and that competition is great for us as consumers.

Well as a Hybrid shooter I am thrilled with my Sony A74. Sometimes I can only take 1 lens and the Tamron 35-150 is amazing (a little heavy) buy amazing. I have Sony FX cameras and can use the same glass so I'm quite happy with my camera!

Just bought an S5 partly on the strength of your love for it, and I'm loving it too so far so thanks gents.

Not sure any camera manufacturers will be able to beat Nikon for hybrid camera, Nikon doesn't have a cine line to protect, so they will just keep having killer video specs

As a hybrid shooter theres a reason I own a D850. I can shoot internal full frame 4k video and still push 45mp stills. And the overall quality on both sides is beyond good enough to do the job. That and having an insane amount of lenses to put in front of it. The Z9 makes total sense on the mirrorless side. It's the perfect tool to craft whatever is required- even the price point is solid. But I can entirely understand all the winners here too. Not an Olympus guy but I did spend a month with an Olympus system and I can fully agree with all the points here.

Being a EOS 70D owner for many years, the R7 so far really appeals to me! A camera that does everything well, solid upgrade of 70D and still able to use EF lenses.

I've been shooting with Olympus/OM System since 2016. One of my favorite hybrids has been the OM-D E-M5ii, but now I am investing into the Lumix S5 for a full frame version to what I currently own.

The main concern in this list is not about cameras, but lenses and the price they are available for

Z9 is amazing I'm LOVING it

I absolutely love that it doesn't have a shudder I never have to worry about shutter counts again depreciating the value of the camera

And N-RAW is a dream to work with

I haven't touched pro-res raw since firmware 2.0

S5 is an incredible value, great camera.
And after seeing what Nikon did with the Z9, I'm super curious what the Z6 mark 3 will offer.

Z9 is my 7th camera since 2005, and it's the closest to a perfect camera that I have ever had.
