The Sound of Silence / Disturbed - 2023 Halloween Light Show

Eureka Lights is a free holiday light show and a fundraiser for the San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission animal shelter in Southern California.

When Disturb got permission to do a song that's already legendary, Paul Simon called David Draiman as soon as he heard David's version and told him it was actually better than his version. Paul loved the way it was done. He didn't think it could turn into a power ballad.

And the light show is incredible.

They set the lights to the instruments rather than the vocals. This allows for more intricate sequences as we saw. Sheer brilliance.

This is one of my top favourite songs, rendered with exquisite lighting!!. however although I still prefer the original by Simon and Garfunkel the Disturbed version was the the one that really worked
