Ship 20 was moved near the Orbital Launch Site potentially in preparation for lifting. Meanwhile, the cargo door prototype still sits outside and a robotic welder was spotted in the High Bay.

3:58 I like how S20 did a little twirl around B4. A dance of joy as S20 goes to the Launch Platform. Both rockets look all ready to fly! 🚀🚀🕺🏻

Starship seemed like a pretty straightforward concept early on. It’s fast becoming the most complex machine ever built. And they haven’t even gotten to the interior with life support etc.

"Hi, mate, what do you do for a crust?"
"I built space ships"
"Oh WOW! Must be awesome working in a pristine environment"
"Nah, mate, we weld 'em up in a tent and a big ol' open shed😀👍"

I doubt anyone could calculate it, but I wonder how many linear feet of welds are on the launch platform. I think Musk said in the tour with Tim Dodd that the launch ring alone weighed 300t.

There are likely a great many superlatives that would apply to those and the tower itself.

Great to see S20 at the tower, but doesn't the top side of ship need to face the tower so the QD arm can interface with the ship's connection port? I don't think the chopsticks alone can physically rotate the ship 180 degrees to make that connection happen.

This S20 move may be a part of a simple function test of the chopsticks, but for future stacking operations they do need to park the ship oriented the right way.

Is anyone else concerned by the tank Farms proximity to the LaunchPad

Do you think they are going to put something in between the flame diverter on top of the orbital launch mount? (the rusty looking around the circumference of the launch table).

I love the timelapse part where S20 moves to the launch pad and circles around. A dancing killer whale 😅

5:30 Do you guys think they will chops the cargo bay door into 2 segments like the space shuttle? Seems more logical for the structural loads.

Robotic welder in High Bay - is the barrel rotated for a fixed-in-place welder, or does the welder move around the barrel?

I woke up without a starbase video to watch this morning and my whole morning routine was thrown off

The ships look sleeker from the side. Don't know why they'd load test with a ship instead of a booster, since load testing a booster could lead to a full stack.
