This is awesome! I have been to several cons and have never thought of signature windows or seen anyone using these! I will be doing this from now on! Also helps save time by not having to fumble with taking the book in and out of the bag. Thank you!

One added feature that I do is after I am finished making the block, I will take a piece of a backing board and make a flap over the window, and tape the flap to the front of the board. I tape just along the top of the flap, so that you can just flip it up and see the signature, and flip it back down and it protects the signature.

I'm new to comic signings so this was awesome. I have had a few books signed and I really didn't like the placement of some of the signatures. I didn't know you can actually set up where you want the books to be signed. Thanks for this!

Good vid. I would replace the backing board after cutting and before putting in the comic. There is a chance the cut board may scratch the comic. I would change out the board.

A silver paint marker, of course! It never occurred to me that I should bring my own different colored markers for signings. I have to buy some Metallic Sharpies.

That's outstanding brother. I wish I'd seen this before meeting Chris Claremont

Thanks. This was really helpful. Going to my first signing event next month. Do you have a brand or type of paint marker or pen you really like and count on?

Thank you for the video. Noobie here it was very helpful. I have a question, what if you don't mind where they sign. Can the comic just be turned in without any of the bag being cut or do some comics just not get signed by the artist?

Do you have to make a separate window for the Remarque? Guessing so

With regards to sending the book in for a CGC signing, I've never heard of putting the book BEHIND the board. Isn't that more work for CGC to pull out the book and put it back in the front where the window is? (Not to mention additional handling, which increases the chance that CGC may damage the book).

Your silver marker is that just a Sharpie or a special type

Quick question since i noticed you brought up about the silver paint marker. Everything ive read people recommend using sharpie metallic markers silver or black. How do the paint markers hold up? Also what brand do you recommend? Thank you
