After Jimmy doesn't come home from his errand, Kim goes to Lalo to try and get some information on his whereabouts.

You can clearly see how much of a difference it makes casting an *actual* Mexican actor for the role of Lalo Salamanca. He acts and speaks like any Mexican would do, it makes him more realistic and threatening.

I think this actually helps Jimmy to get away with the "car broke down story" later on when Lalo came back to their apartment. It's a necessary scene to build Kim's credibility for Lalo.

Lalo making the logical leap to love instead of the emotional makes him an incredibly dangerous individual.

Lalo slouches on his chair belittling the importance of this meeting, while Kim's posture resembles her lawyer mannerisms, as shes trying to win this battle the only way she knows how. The director did a great job showing Lalo's absolute dominance in this season. 🤌
