Useful tool.
Doesn’t come filled with anything. We use for added oil charge or acid neutralizer on compressor burnouts.

How do you remove air from this before injecting with it though? I seem to be missing that step. Can you keep the valve shut off and use the service port to pull a vacuum on it while it's still holding the desired dye amount?

Nitrogen is the easiest way to find leaks.

There's most likely two or three drops of water in the air that's inside the injector. You must make an effort to purge the air and moisture from the empty part of the injector. Personally I use refrigerant to up flow through the injector while depressing the Schrader at the top if it has one. It's not completely removing everything but it helps.

Dye should not be in a system. Oil and refrigerant only. also you should try some digital gauges. reading pressures on those analog gauges to calculate subcool and superheat is like trying to measure out 5ft with your cars odometer.

No best way to add more contaminants into the system. Shitty away use one that’s already sealed and pressurized with sealant.

Ok cool so along with the dye comes a big shot of air haha

I've used that once and instantly plugged the gauges, it's trash. Use a spot gun injector

That stuff is a compressor killer, and coil internal restrictor. Stuff is absolute trash!
