Just found your channel; it popped up as a recommendation and tip, it’s a good one and I have subscribed. And congrats on the baby; I am at the other end, mine are 25 and 22 and I am recently retired. Fall on Your Knees is a “local” author and setting. She is well known in these parts. I live in Nova Scotia and I hope you enjoy the read.
Oh, and Roots is a terrific read. It was quite a while ago for me; I picked up in a bin for 50 cents at a liquor store one time. Great bargain! It is an epic, sometimes upsetting read but is SO well written.

Sorry that your friend has passed. A couple of weeks ago I went to my library book sale and I bought twenty books inspired by you. Historical and romance. The week before I bought twenty classics. The books were all a dollar each. Both trips I spent twenty.

To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my favorite books. It is a great book!

Yes yes yes to Sacajawea ! I'm currently re-reading a huge mass market paperback, Coming Home by Rosamunde Pilcher, it's a whopping 977 pages - love a huge book!!

Baby noises always accepted. ❤🎉 i read Roots back in the day when i was a teenager. I was younger ithink when i watched the miniseries. (i wasn't scared to read huge books back then so I'm trying to get back to that line of thinking 😅).

To kill a Mockingbird is so good!! One of my favs in had to read in high school and I've reread it since.

What a cool find with the Adventures in English Literature. Love looking at vintage books! They're well-made, better quality, and you never know what you'll find in them--sometimes a story within a story. Nice haul! 📚 🌟

I reread The Name of the Rose fairly recently, and found it challenging! I want to read something else of his just to try, but I didn’t enjoy his writing quite as much as I had hoped to. That’s a beautiful edition!

I am a follower of Scott and Beck’s Channel. Scott’s passing brought tears to my eyes. I am really going to miss him. I loved watching him and Becky talking about their Books that they was reading. He is really going to be missed a great deal. I feel sorry for Becky. I posted a comment on Becky’s Video.
