book shopping at the world’s largest bookstore 📚 + book haul

Hello friends!
I recently got back from spending a few days in Portland, Oregon and finally got to experience my dream of visiting Powell's City of Books. It's the largest independent bookstore in the world and it truly made all my bookish dreams come true, so I hope you enjoy this book shopping vlog and book haul :) I could have spent days in that bookstore. We actually meant to film another video of our trip to Oregon, but my health took a little plunge again so sadly this will be the only video from my this trip. But I'm hoping to go back to Oregon again later this summer :) There was so much to see and do, it's such a beautiful state! I know it's not Washington but it did give me all the Twilight vibes. It was magical and being there made my heart so happy 😊

Hello, i'm 16 and got diagnosed with dyslexia at 12. Reading has always been hard for me. But I watched this video recently. I have never thought about reading being fun. It was always just to read a text book for school. But I thank you for shedding a new light for reading to me. I have an audio book account and i'm starting to read for fun for the first time. i'm reading to all the boys I've loved before and next I plane to read Anne of green gable. once again I want to thank you. <3

Back when I was a kid I wanted to go on a 'shopping spree' for Christmas. My mom got me a $100 gift certificate for our local mall. I thought I was the richest girl in the world. I blew the entire amount at Waldenbooks buying up the _Sweet Valley Twins_ series. On my Sumner vacations from grade school I used to read the Nancy Drew mystery books and willingly write book reports about them. As a kid I also liked to write to my favorite authors and tell them how how much I enjoyed their stories. A few even wrote back. I remember that the letters from LJ Smith, the author of the 'vampire diaries' series were on such beautiful stationery. She wrote me multiple times in junior high & I was so excited and happy; she was such a kind lady. I guess I've always been a reading nerd! Powell's looks like paradise! And how do people *not* watch to the end of your videos?! You don't have a single second of dull content.... ever!
