A risk of being unclear about the release date of the Juniper is that people start looking into other car brands. The current Model Y lags behind the looks of the new Model 3 and competitors.

I'm going to buy a new Model Y, but I'm NOT buying a car that is basically identical to a 4 year old model. The new Model 3's are on the road, and I sat in one at a dealership. Really nice improvements. Now, Elon... tell me... WHAT do you think the chances of your tweets saying "NO MODEL Y REFRESH UNTIL 2025" getting me to buy one right now are? Zero. You can sit on that big ol' inventory of current Model Y's, and threaten us with "no refresh until..." all you want, but I HAVE YOU OVER A BARREL, ELON. If Elmo wants to keep selling the current version of the model Y then replace all of that crappy interior hard plastic and add the acoustic windows like in the refreshed model 3 and do it now. Otherwise, shut it and go count your $54 billion.
